As part of the Monsoon National Tree Plantation Awareness Campaign 2025, the Iqbal Academy Pakistan organized a special lecture on September 11, 2025 at Muslim Model High School, Urdu Bazaar, Lahore.
Head of the Academics Department, Dr. Tahir Hameed Tanoli addressed the students on the importance of tree plantation. He emphasized that planting trees is not only vital for the environment but also ensures a healthier atmosphere for future generations. He further stressed that to combat the challenges of climate change, every citizen must actively participate in plantation campaigns.
Dr. Tanoli also highlighted the need to protect trees and promote environmental awareness, urging students not only to plant trees but also to take responsibility for their care.
On the occasion, the school hosted a painting competition on the theme of tree plantation, where students enthusiastically showcased their creativity. To formally begin the campaign, Dr. Tanoli, along with the school principal, staff and students, planted a sapling in the school courtyard to encourage greener educational environments.
Under this campaign, Iqbal Academy Pakistan will continue plantation activities at various locations and educational institutions for the next two months, with the aim of making the country greener and more environmentally sustainable.
