Jamiat Talaba Arabia Pakistan Delegation Visits Iqbal Academy to Promote Iqbal Studies in Religious Seminaries

Lahore, July 18, 2025 — A high-level delegation from Jamiat Talaba Arabia Pakistan, led by its Chief Organizer Mr. Muhammad Afzal, visited Iqbal Academy Pakistan with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the two institutions to introduce Allama Iqbal’s philosophical and intellectual legacy to students of religious seminaries.
During the visit, Mr. Afzal emphasized the organization’s commitment to nurturing religious students in the values of unity, brotherhood and adherence to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. He highlighted the significance of incorporating Iqbal Studies into the religious curriculum, a step he said would play a vital role in the spiritual and intellectual development of the youth.
Mr. Afzal proposed the joint organization of interactive workshops and educational programs to engage seminary students with Iqbal’s message and vision. He noted that such initiatives would bridge the gap between traditional religious education and contemporary Islamic thought inspired by Iqbal.
The visiting delegation included provincial and regional leaders from across Pakistan, including Nauman Masroor (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Umar Farooq Abid (South Punjab), Muhammad Talha Fazal (Lahore), Israr Ghazali and Anas Ahmad (Vice Presidents), Asghar Ali (Sindh), Abdur Rahman (Kashmir), and Bakhtullah (Balochistan).
Iqbal Academy Pakistan was represented by senior officials Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Mr. Shahid Hanif, Mr. Muhammad Ishaq, and Mr. Arshad Ali who welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the Academy’s ongoing initiatives to promote the thought and works of Allama Iqbal.
The visit concluded with a presentation ceremony in which the delegation members were gifted selected publications of Iqbal Academy Pakistan as souvenirs in appreciation of their visit and shared commitment to educational and intellectual development.
