On 8th November 2023, Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui, Director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan, in his special lecture, shed light on Iqbal's Eastern and Western sciences. He said that Iqbal's thinking is indispensable in forming and character building. He called the Quran as the source of Iqbal's thoughts and said that our success lies in the meaning of Iqbal's thoughts.
A signing ceremony was held between Iqbal Academy Pakistan and Islamabad University Bahawalpur. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University Bahawalpur and Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiuqi, Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamli, Registrar, Islamaha Unitrust Bahawalpur and Dr. Muhammad Rafqa-ul-Islam, Chairman, Department of Iqbaliyat and Philosophy were also present.
Dr. Muhammad Rafique-ul-Islam, Chairman, Department of Iqbaliyat and Philosophy, in his opening Address presented the work of Department of Iqbaliyat and said that this department awarded Ph.D and M.Phil degrees in a very short period of time with the approval of Higher Education Commission. International expert of Iqbal studies Professor Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan emphasized the need to look at Iqbal's thought and Islamic teachings in the context of today's priorities and said that stages of human development, Jahan Bini and Jahan Sazi can be determined through Iqbal's thought.
