On November 17, 2024, international delegates and guests of the International Iqbal Conference 2024, jointly organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan and ECO Cultural Institute, Tehran. Delegates of International Iqbal Conference Visit Iqbal's Mausoleum and tours Lahore’s historical sites The delegation was greeted by a ceremonious salute from the Rangers, who stood in formal guard. The guests paid their respects by placing a floral wreath at Mazar-e-Iqbal and President of ECO Cultural Institute Theran, Dr. Muhammad Saaad Khan signed the guest book with their impressions of the visit.
Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui, Director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan, stated that the conference aimed to highlight Allama Iqbal's universal message and showcase Pakistan's positive aspects. Foreign delegates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit Iqbal's mausoleum, acknowledging the poet's profound impact on the Muslim world. "We feel honored to visit Iqbal's mausoleum," said the foreign delegates. "Iqbal's poetry has shown the Muslim world a new path ." Earlier, Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab Secretary Farid Ahmed Tarar welcomed the delegates to Lahore's historical sites. The delegates were taken on a tour of Lahore's historical sites, including Badshahi Mosque,-Shahi Qila, Javed Manzil.
At the end of the tour, the participants of the conference also visited Dabistan-e-Iqbal. The Grandson of Allama Iqbal and chairman Dabistan-e-Iqbal, Mr. Iqbal Salahuddin welcomed the guests. An interactive session carried out in Dabistan-e-Iqbal with Mian Iqbal Salahuddin.
