He was founding Chairman of Iqbal Academy Scandinavia. He was also a life member of Iqbal Academy Pakistan. By profession he is retired airlines executive. He was a writer, a well known Iqbal scholar and had written may articles in Urdu and English on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy of human values. His book Iqbal, Religion and Modern Physics was declared best book on Allama Iqbal in English written in years 2009-2011 and was awarded Presidential Iqbal Award.
His demise is a great loss for the literary circles. May Allah Almighty grant him high ranks in the heavens and confer upon him a place among the blessed persons in the Hereafter.
