On the occasion of International Mother Language Day Iqbal Academy Pakistan arranged an exhibition of Iqbaliyati books in regional languages of Pakistan published under Iqbal Academy Pakistan on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. The exhibition was held outside the Sales Center of Iqbal Academy established in Aiwan-e-Iqbal Lahore. The Director Iqbal Academy, Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen, along with renowned Iqbal Scholar Dr. Waheed-ul-Zaman Tariq, Director NUML, Dr. Muhammad Imad-ud-din and teachers and students visited the books exhibition. Talking on this occasion, Dr. Waheed-ul-Zaman Tariq highlighted the importance of mother language and discussed their usefulness in historical perspective. Dr. Baseera Ambreen encouraged the students to learn and study their mother languages and said that Iqbal Academy has published many books in this regard and the best book in Pakistani Languages is given the Presidential Iqbal Award after in the interval of three years. Recently Hayat-e-Iqbal, introductory booklet, has been published in Kashmiri language which is a proof of attachment and love for mother tongues.
