Sonny dear,
Grieve not over words nor
vows
For they too can alluring be,
What ever the depth of heart
contains
Out of reach of words can it
be
Remember ye that I did
express
So much so easily
Though I have for thee
What could still perplex ye
Inexplicable
Could my ideas be
So catch their spirit
Oh! ye of generations new
One and all of ye!
Further gather ye
from this warmth of mine
As also from these looks
And brows of mine.
Although thy first lessons
Learnt did thee
Atop thy mothers lap,
Which did enable thee
To open the window of thy
mind!
Her breath made out of thee
The stroke of La illah
Is lasting;
Through its radiance
Strength, energy and power
all do flow
Ah! believers
And pay homage?
And at that too
To the un-believers too?
Believers and disloyal be
Believers and hypocrites be?
My! My!
What! Such believers?
Who their religions sell!
And their people too
For a trifle do thay sell!
Persons such not only torch
All that their nations hold
dear
But also set aflame
Their very country dear!
The Muslims’ prayers
Once inspired were By La
illah,
But no more hath they
The spirit
Nor the soul of Lah illah
Their submissions
To the Almighty
Had attractions
Once their very own.
Now their praying
Have lost all their frevour,
While their fasting
All their spirituality
From "Prophets
Not one but two,
The first one from Iran did
come
Who Haj did’nt approve
While the other from India
did come
Who Jihad did disapprove!
When thou doth Haj
But delete
And Jihad
Too ye forfeit,
From religious duties thine,
Then prayers and fasting too
Loose their meaning and their
soul
When prayers and fasts
Loose their philosophy, spirit
and soul,
The individual
Is upturned and unbalanced,
While the Society too
Is disconnected and uprooted
Self respect lost,
When no longer
Hearts
Are warmed by the Quran,
What good
Can ye expect
From such hearts and minds?
The Muslims
Have their
Self respect lost,
O! Khizar please do help
Before all is lost
Once our Saida (bowing),
To the Almightily
Caused the earth to quake,
Through which ye move.
Ye’ll feel
That reason has been
swallowed
By brutal beasts,
And hearts no longer
By love are warmed
The Muslims no longer
Are modest or discreet,
Influenced alone by glitter
Now are they!
The knowledge that they
gather now
Negates
Their arts and sciences
Economics and politics,
And more so their religion
too
They v’ plunged in to the in
mire
Of power, wealth and muck!
Asia that massive land
Of the rising sun
Has sunk so low
That it is hidden from itself.
Asians now borrow
Ideas of others
And have stopped.
Thinking for themselves.
While their ideas own
Now aren’t worth a pun!
The Asians life
In this world called old
Is caught
By the syndrome of the old
Can you imagine
By me!
Only in cups two!
Expressed have I ideas mine
In parlance such
That I could win
The applause of people mine
For its excellence.
Which ye shall see
As ye go along.
But ye might yet
Not grasp its meaning,
For here have I used
The metaphor of the west.
The exotic songs that fleet
From the strings of my heart
Merge for thee all that is the
best
Both of the east and the west
Know do ye
The songs of the East
Out of contemplation spring,
While the songs of the West
Out of thoughts do sprout
I want ye to grasp
And inherit them both
For I am a stream
Whose thoughts flow from
both.
My divergence includes both
Individual disconnection
As well as ecclesiastical
Connection.
The demands of the age
Our scholar’s instructions and
appeals
To flow deep into our hearts
To build a society
With roots deep and strong
See ye thus, how this
Has stolen our lives and souls
Of our inner most light,
Including the goodness of
nature ours,
And of what is wrong and
what is right
So much so that even
Roses worth name ours
Have stopped growing
On these boughs of ours!
And builders ours
Haven’t laid foundations
proper
Of mosques that are ours
Although thine fathers fore
Were far more daring
Than even the eagles,
Now youth ours
Are far more timid
Than even the ducklings.
If thy education gathers not
The warmth from the flame
of life.
How can thy heart receive the
fervor
And the absorption of
Knowledge new.
Thus see ye
How learning is a process.
Of the exposure of thy being,
And be very much brief in
thy speech
Which will cause thee
To be agile and alert,
Enabling thee
To amass and encompass
Far more knowledge and
insight
The clergy denounces
gainsayers
Of Almighty as unbelievers,
Where as I consider those
who disown
Them selves .as
Unbelievers.
Of them one is dubbed
impetuous
For denying existence
While the other one is labeled
Rash, biased and oblivious
Truthfulness should thy
resolve be
So break the chains of fear
And free thyself from the
phobia
Of the feudal and the lords
Leave not the hands of justice
Even if thou be
In a state
Of rage or tranquility
And hold on to this principle
Whether ye be drenched
In poverty or prosperity,
Even though
The law of Almighty
May not to thy liking be;
Do this remember
Crums and scums of the earth
Sustain vultures and crows,
While eagles draw
nourishment
Their’s from regions
Nearest the sun and the
Moon.
Religion pure and simple is to
Be honest in life
Upright and true in speech
Graceful in seclusion
Generous in assembly
And above all to be
Benevolent and upright.
Be firm in devotion thine to
the Almightily
And in matters such always an
angle be
Exist always to be with the
Almighty
If ye want to live in real
tranquility
I shall now unravel for thee
Religion in its heart, spirit
and
soul
By telling thee the tale of the
life
And times of Sultan Muzzafar
Who peerless ever was
In his earnestness.
This Sultan loved his stallion
did
As he his own sonny would,
In times of war this Arab
Horse
Of his was as hardy
As his Lord.
A sharp agony in abdomen
his.
So the medic royal was called,
Who to the stable regal came
To remove the horse’s
distress,
But perforce had to administer
That forbidden drink
To remove the horse’s
Torment.
That saintly prince thereafter
Never bridled that beauty ever
Thus see ye how the approach
of the godly
Happens to be very much
Unlike that of ours.
My prayer to the Almighty
Is, that ye too be bestowed
With a vision veracious
And a kindly heart.
These are the possessions
Of a Muslim sincere
And a believer right earnest.
To pursue a religion true
Yell have to glow in its flame
Right from head to toe.
Initiation in a religion true
With a conduct becoming
Begins,
And with love does it end.
As in, hue and fragrance,
Is cast, the beauty of a rose.
By now ye ought to know,
So live up and mindful be
Of the high pedestal
Of the human being
In this universe
That’s both thine and mine!
Do remember
That the strength of a human
being
Is in proportion direct
To their reverence for
mankind;
To ‘attain destination such
Bind thy self firmly
In the bond of love and
Brotherhood.
Men and women of love
Who hold dear to their hearts
The commandments of the
Almighty;
Who emulate and hold near
To their hearts and souls
The role of Almighty Allah
their Lord;
Are kind and compassionate
Very much like their Lord
Both to the believers
And unbelievers alike.
Pray, permit both
Faith and doubt
A limitless place
In thy heart.
However if thy heart too
Experiences infirmity
Then pray to the Almighty
To help thee
In this calamity.
Affluence much to much
Arrogance does incubate,
It erases intellect,
And sparks of goodness.
In travels of mine or’ the
world
Around the globe and or’ the
years,
Seen have I pity none
In the eyes of the moneyed
They heedless of Almighty’s
Commandments remain
So unfortunately
Calamity is their claim.
Much do I adore those
Who like hermits do abide.
Now when the muslims have
lost
All their vigour trust and
belief,
Evaporated too has their
Fervor, elation and joy.
The learned ones too heed
The Quran no morel
And are enlightened
By it no more
The Sufi hermits
Do longer holy come,
But plunderers and ravenous
Now they v’ become.
Despite activities hectic
In religious schools of ours
The scholars of therein,
seldom do
On resources and ideas their
Very own.
Men of destiny who saintly
are
Like heavenly light they
descend on us,
Stimulus theirs is derived
From civilizations both of
East and West
In ignorance while we
languish
In this world of ours,
They administer, rule and
command
Both or’ our lives and times.
Who is the one who is akin?
To Abraham?
To Moses?
To Jesus?
To Gabriel?
And to the Quran?
He is Muhammad (SAS)!
Akin is Mohammad (SAS) to
the radiant sun,
Universe is he for the masses,
Who adore him
From the core of their hearts.
His shining brilliance and
wisdom
Emits warmth, compassion
and love.
Initially did he brandish us
Through the flame of his
radiance,
Guiding us to the august
pedestal
Nor disheartened be,
And cease not thy quest
For finding a person such
Even if ye have to brave
Hardships far too many!
If in thy endeavors ye do fail
To attract the fellowship of a
sage,
Then please do care to accept
blessings mine
With all the wisdom that I
carry
Of thy fathers fore both thine
and mine.
Cause Rumi thy mentor to be
Who’ll set ye on a course
That’ll amplify thee,
And may Almighty bless thee
With warmth, enthusiasm,
Love and mercy.
Know ye? that Rumi stands
out
In discriminating
The shallow form the deep
And unwavering Rumi is ever
In his mode of adoration of
The Alimghty.
Rumi’s inspiration true
Our minds did fail to seize,
Which slipped from our
hands
As a fish or a deer could.
Rumi’s physical prance
Did we adopt
While his spiritual dance
We forgot.
To understand the difference
Betwixt the Goldy and the
satanic,
Know what is temporal
Know what is spiritual,
And above all,
What is service above self!
And further when
Ye detach thy self
From the selfish,
Then and only then thy soul
Shall have the ability
To dance by itself.
Oh! ye thou
Young friends of mine
Do this counsel of mine but
heed,
That worrying much
Leads to beliefs feeble and
frail
Anxiety and adversity too it
incubates,
Which becomes the cause
main
Of senility in the youth.
Can ye comprehend that
Even the hermits of today
Have greedy become,
And that’s what’s made me a
And an ally
Of the unselfish and of
Those who govern and live
Thier lives own.
By now you can see
How ye can a cause
Of solace be,
For my restless
Spirit and soul
|
Whatever now than art,
While these sterling qualities
Of thine
Are only because
Our love tingled in thee.
It was she who infused in thee
That immortal spirit,
And through her ye
Understood the meaning
Real of La illah (The
Almighty)
Now come hither and gather
ye
The wisdom and elation
Of enjoying through me
The joy of vision,
While glowing
In the halo of Almighly
Now La illah
When ye often do recall
Do so from the depth of thy
heart,
So that thy body too
Could feel the warmth of thy
soul!
Even the sun and the moon
In the love of La illah
Do glow,
Seen have I this blaze
Or’ the mountains
And the grass too by it does
glow
La and Illah?
Are not words alone,
They are infect a sword
Whose cut ye cannot escape
No longer
Is there evidence
Of any divinity
In their universe
Their source of strength
Once was Almighty alone
Now hath they fallen
Into the depths of loving
Naught, but wealth alone
And in their hearts
Now they fear
Naught, but death alone
Gone is their love
Ardor and zest,
That once steeled
The love
That they had
In their faith
Their enthusiasm has faded
That rapture of their’s has
evaporated,
That joy too in them has
faded
Their energy go and gusto
Has all but evaporated
The Muslims’ religion real
Now only in the book
remains
While his body in the grave
remains
Influenced are some
Inversely by the so called
modernity,
Who unlearnt their religions
did
At whose behest
The heavens too did swirl
And casts its imprint
On the mountains too,
Who would evaporate
As ordained in the Quran
Like smoke
Ye ought to know
Prostration ours is nothing
now
But the bending of the head,
Or call it
The weakness of the aged
No longer hath our faith
In it the grandeur
Of God is Great !
Is it our fault?
Or our inherent defect?
Nay! Now instead
All of us
Move on our way
Own.
The Muslim now moves
Like a camel bridle less
Aimless and goalless.
The once
Standard bearers of Quran
Have lost their urge
For research!
Astonishing and astounding
isn’t it?
If the Almighty doth grant
thee
Insight and vision,
Scan the times
The world may moveth
Or may not moveth
But the Muslman now
Does not moveth
Infect have they now
Fallen a prey
To the talismans
Of the priests and the kings.
Who’ve’ crippled their
thoughts
And movements too;
That has further clipped
Their urge to soar
Higher and higher
Towards the unattainable.
Isn’t it shameful
That our reason, faith and
thought
Are now tied alone
To the western school of
thought
However, invaded have I
The castles of their thoughts.
That’s led my heart
To bleed from within,
But enabled has it me
To revolutionize
Her world from without.
In so few a words
Has this sage
Conveyed his thoughts
To the people of this age.
All the knowledge
Contained in oceans two,
Have been condensed
Are far more diverse,
That hath enabled me
To lay the foundation,
Of a phenomenon
Far more different
Although the youth
Of today thirsty remain,
Yet that goblet of theirs
empty remains,
Otherwise charming all of
them remain.
Yet some of them
Possess
A soul that’s dark.
Foresight have they none
Future theirs they can’t
perceive,
In conviction do they lack
Nothing in this world can
they discern.
When independence ye do
loose
Ego and spirit ye also loose
To top it all faith too do ye
loose.
Although the builders of
temples of learning ours
Use bricks and mortars of
mother earth,
Even then these scholars of
ours
Know not what
Aspirations and objectives are
really ours.
Then how can ye expect
For clarifies it, the cobwebs
That befogs the judgment of
a being.
Burn ye thy self
While passing through the fire
Of thoughts pure and chaste,
If ye really want to
discriminate
Betwixt right and wrong.
That could lead thee
Towards grasping the truth,
And attaining a vision
That is even beyond
The reach of reason.
Ample knowledge gathered
have ye
From literary compositions
Books and tutors a many,
Yet real insight can thou
Acquire through the
disposition
Of
the-natures eye!
The wine of perception that
flowth
From these eyes of mine
Can exhilarate and invigorate
Thy Vision and foresight.
While each dawn bringth
Whiffs of thoughts a fresh
And blowth away ideas old,
Filing the inverted cup
On shoulders thine with ideas
new.
Another advice sonny dear
Is eat as little as is possible
Sleep as less as ye can
And circumvent it never.
In matters such
Let none else but logic
Rule thy heart.
Food for the human soul,
Is reminiscence infinite
Of ideas, logic and opinions;
While therapy for the cage
Of mortals
Is sans excesses carnal and
physical.
greater If thy body and soul
aren’t
sound and pure,
Ye can’t attain sway
Neither in this life
Nor in the hereafter
Goals of movements
Be they of ideas or of journeys
Should in the direction
Forward move
Other wise why at all bother
to move.
Now look, the cruise of the
Moon.
Is limited to its orbit own,
It shall tarry
And one day shall it stop;
While the voyage of the
Humans
Is unbounded and infinite
Existence is non-existent
If the delight of the flight is
amiss,
And retreat discordant
With the nature of t he
Humankind.
My! My! what a horse
Steadfast and flawless
With a lineage that surpassed
Excellence all.
O! Men of reason
Do ye remember
That once upon a time,
Nothing dearer was
To a soldier’s heart
Than his holy book
His sword and his horse.
This giant of a horse
With the agility of a tiger
Sprang or’ hills, and dales,
While in combat his speed
Eclipsed the lightening
Of the skies.
Hemmed he in his stride
Rocks and boulders
Like a gusty blizzard would.
Many an uproar and
excitement
Did he embed in his rapid
Sprints, twists and turns,
Bedecked with his astounding
Appearances and
disappearances
Every now and then
Stone and rock and all
Would shudder and shatter
Under his powerful hoofs.
But alas one sad day,
This mighty and noble
creature
That Almighty did create,
Like a mortal had to endure
That the insolent and the
rude,
Command neither respect
Nor honour due!
When behold I! the youth
Displaying conduct
unbecoming
My life turns dark, dismal and
blue.
Resultantly,
Grief and torment intensifies,
In this heart of mine. again,
And then the teachings of
Mustafa
Come vividly to life
The truth of all truths
Is and remains,
That a woman’s security
With her consort lies
In this world of men
So wild and primitive,
While in the hereafter
Tranquility is all but hers!
The security of a man
Inversely lies in his ‘will own
To guard his self
From immorality and
Depravation.
Tis sinful and vile
To utter words evil and
immoral
About human kind
Forget not for both
The faithful and those devoid
Are Almighty’s creation too!
Ti’s a fact that heart too
Is bound by water and clay
As our globe too
Is bound by these elements
Two.
Though thou aristocratic be
Or bathe ye in affluence,
Leave not the apron string of
Education.
Remember the essence
Of this friar’s fervor for
learning
Lies in thy spirit and thy
frame,
Further this accord
Also is embedded
In thee by thy fathers fore
Through their blood, sweat
And intellect.
Look not for
For the spasms of thy soul
In this mortal and earth!
abode
Nor beg for honor or for
glory
From princes and the dirty
rich
Instead look ye up to
Almighty Allah
For his blessings and rewards
.
Time and again it happens so
That persons of perception
Who are god-fearing too
Can turn inconsiderate an
Injudicious too
Through the smell of power
Wealth and fame.
Hold the cup of intellect.
While Muslims brains best
Are brain washed by the west,
Who effortless solutions seek
To problems intricate
And in the analysis final,
They only but lament.
Dispossessed are persons
Who Who easily are
ride,
For unenlightened are they,
the nature and essence of
Divinity.
Scarcely would ye find
Honesty and integrity
In and amongst the
aristocracy,
While whole hearted truism
Originates
In the masses by and large.
Discriminate ye thoughtfully
Betwixt the satanic and the
godly,
Search out a person godly,
And in his association
Do associate.
Societies have their Vultures
too
Who grab, seize and suck,
The walth, labour and ideas o’
others,
And that’s become
Their etiquette, culture, code
and conduct;
While who like eagles soar
Incubate and grow
For being elevated as
Almighty’s’ vicegerent.
By his fervor and warmth
Did he convert us,
From a soulless, spiritless,
pitiless
And a disorganized mass
Into a nation with a
throbbing heart
Horrified am I of the age
When thou were cast
Into this mortal world,
That’s sunk so deep in carnal
sensuality;
And insensible is it
Both to the soul and
Spirituality.
When spirit is lost so are souls
Resulting in soulless bodies a
many,
Then neither honesty nor
justice
These elements two
Can find a person nor a place
Wherein to lodge themselves,
Finally as they find a place no
better
So seek they shelter in their
Shells own.
The situation is so very
serious
Yell not be able to seek out
Persons who are honest to a
fault,
Even though they be
Around thee all the while.
So sonny dear abandon not
The physical dance causes
This mortal world to swirl
While the intellectual dance
causes,
The heavens to buoy
Up with joy.
With these tools two
Ye too can capture
Both the heavens and the
earth,
Thereby ye too could rule
Over both the worlds
Spiritual and temporal
Singly a person
By painstaking labour such
Can by means all
Moses’ elation achieve
While
Collectively a nation can
develop
And preside over a realm
That’s glorious, great and
Noble.
Soul’s dance is the disciplining
of the self
Ti’s an exercise of the
Intellect,
That can be achieved
By burning elements
That are ungodly.
The sustained glowing
Of the spirit in the flame of
love,
Plus trails and tribulations a
many
Prompt the dance of the soul.
Further sonny dear learn ye
So if ye
Master the dance
Of the spirit and the soul.
I shall tutor thee
In the religion of Mustapha
For the salvation
Of thy spirit
And thy soul
And shall pray
For the forgiveness
Of they soul
Even when I lie
In that grave of mine
THE END
A LITTLE PRAYER,
Now dear
children of Islam
Named mostly
after Mustapha
Though this
be the end of this
Poem
It should be
the beginning
Of thine
lives anew.

Zubair)
