Special Webinar - "Iqbal and Existence of Women"

In collaboration with Women Writers Forum and Young Women Writers Forum, a webinar titled “Iqbal and Existence of Women” was organized on November 9 by the Pakistan Academy of Letters, Islamabad on November 13, 2020. Director Iqbal Academy Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen presided over the session while Ms. Bushra Malik made the arrangements. Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen highlighted Iqbal's vision in the conversation and said that Iqbal's vision of woman has emerged as a mature and enlightened person. This woman is seen playing an active role in various spheres of life as well as household affairs and duties.
At the end of the talk, Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreen also answered the questions of the women participants in the webinar. President of Young Women Writers Forum Nosiqa Syed thanked all the participants. Among the women present on the occasion were Mahjabeen Asif, Sabin Ali, Azma Ajmal, Rani Alamgir Khan, Nabila Malik Haya, Sania Sheikh, Shumaila Aziz, Tahira Ghafoor.
