Pakistan High Commission Mauritius in collaboration with the Iqbal Academy Pakistan and Muslim Ladies Council Mauritius had organized an international webinar on "Relevance of Iqbal in Modern Times" in connection with the 83rd death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Dr. Nasira Iqbal, Leading Researcher and Professor Dr. Maqsood Jafari and Member of Governing Body, Iqbal Academy Pakistan from Balochistan and well known Iqbal Scholar Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqi represented Iqbal Academy Pakistan. Chairperson Muslim Ladies Council Mauritius Mariam Gudur and Vice President of Urdu Speaking Union Dr. Sabir Godur also addressed the audience. Mr. Muneeb Iqbal's message regarding the subject was also broadcast on this occasion. The host was Dr. Rizwan Ahmed, Pakistan's High Commissioner to the Mauritius. He expressed his views on Iqbal's thought. The speakers covered various aspects from the perspective of contemporary issues and the role of Allama Iqbal's thought in solving them.
