"Special Lecture regarding "Ishq e Rasool week”
Guest Speaker: Dr. Syed Mazhar Moeen

A special lecture was organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan regarding Ishq-e-Rasool ﷺ week on Saturday, October 27, 2020. Dean / Principal / HoD, Department of Arabic, Punjab University Oriental College, Lahore Prof. Dr/ Muhammad Mazhar Moeen was the guest speaker. Expressing his views, he said that after the revelation of the Qur'an, all the Arabs agreed that it was the first complete book of Arabic literature. Muhammad Arabi ﷺ created the world of Arabic. The language of our Holy Prophet ﷺ was Arabic and the Arabs became such a strong nation as a result of the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ that they established their governments in Arabia, Europe, Rome, Persia and Africa and emerged as a great nation in the world. Under the command of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), the Arabs expanded their regime beyond Arabian Peninsula and reached Rome, Persia and Khurasan and introduced Arabic language in these areas. Arabic has also been recognized as a global language in the United Nations. He elaborated the subject under discussion and highlighted the importance of acquiring Arabic language as an important requirement of love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
