Special Online Lecture:
Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal Guest Speaker: Prof. Ahmed Saeed

On the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day, a special online lecture titled “Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal” was organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan on December 25, 2020. The guest speaker was renowned historian Prof. Ahmed Saeed. Addressing the gathering, he said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was so impressed with Allama Iqbal that once he said: “Although I do not have a homeland, but if I had one and I am asked to pick one among the rule and Iqbal, I would pick Allama Iqbal without even thinking for a while. Prof. Ahmed Saeed said that just as Allama Iqbal awakened the nation for one purpose, so did Quaid-e-Azam for the same purpose. He stood up and today we are breathing in a free country.
