Online Lecture: "Pakistan Resolution and Iqbal's Pakistan"
Guest Speaker: Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chawla

An online lecture titled “Resolution of Pakistan and Iqbal's Pakistan” was organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan on March 23, 2021. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chawla said that after the Allahabad sermon in 1930, the Congress was propagating Indian nationalism and trying to make Hindu-Muslim a nation. Iqbal, during the first round of Round Table Conference said "If the solution to the religious and social problems of the Muslims is not found, I think India will be divided. If the Hindus do not change their minds and the Congress changes its policy, it will become a separate country.
When the Muslim League took part in the elections under the Act of 1935, Allama Muhammad Iqbal continued to bless Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with his thoughts, ideas and opinions through meetings and letters which had a profound effect on Muhammad Ali Jinnah's thinking. Congress Ministries played an important role towards resolution of Pakistan. On their unjust policy towards Muslims, Quaid-e-Azam said that Allama Iqbal was right when he said that if the British left India, Hindus would usurp the religious, social and political rights of Muslims. Then, in 1940, right in accordance with Allama Iqbal's thought, the resolution was presented in Lahore on the issue of partition of India and the separate identity of Muslims.
