On the occasion of Kashmir Siege Day, a day of expression of solidarity with Kashmiris and condemnation of unconstitutional measures taken by the Government of India was observed here at Aiwan-i-Iqbal under the leadership of Director Iqbal Academy Pakistan Prof. Dr. Baseera Umbereen. Vice President Iqbal Academy Dr. Shahzad Qaiser, DG IRI Prof Dr. Zia ul Haq, Raja Muhamamd Akhtar Iqbal, Dr. Humaira Shahbaz, Muhamamd Numan Chishti, Dr. Tahir Hameed Tanoli, Haroon Akram Gill, Fahim Arshad, Waqar Ahmad and Academy staff were among other participants.
Prof. Dr. Baseera Umbereen said that we stand with the Kashmiris in solidarity with them. Kashmiris will definitely get freedom from Indian domination. Vice President Iqbal Academy Pakistan Dr. Shahzad Qaiser while addressing the audience praised the step of releasing new map of Pakistan and said the the released map, God willing, will become a real map of Pakistan.
