The teaching of the Qur'an that life is a process of progressive creation necessitates that each generation, guided but unhampered by the work of its predecessors, should be permitted to solve its own problems.

Iqbal Study Group Session Held on 30th April 2009:

The 3rd study group session was held on the 30 April, 2009. The topic chosen was “Shakwa and jawab-e-shakwa”. The Roman Urdu text of these two poems and their English translation was circulated to members of the group in advance. An article of Mr. Sabir, the founder of IAS, in English was also circulated among the members. On April 30 Mr. Sabir delivered a short lecture on the subject which was followed by discussion within the group members. The views of the participants were subsequently exchanged at a larger scale. Mr. Sabir explained the questions of Danish speaking members about some difficult words/terms used by Allama Iqbal. At he end Hadi Khan, a member of IAS executive body, graphically explained various periods of the life of Ummah including their rise and the fall etc. of which Allama Iqbal has poetically in his two poems has provided reasons and their remedy in detail.
